Pre-Nursing Power Skills

A theory and skills lab course designed to review the basic skills required to meet the hygiene and comfort needs of an older adult. Upon successful completion of the course, the student's eligibility to work as a CNA in the state of Kansas will be updated on the Kansas Nurse Aide Registry. Previous certification as a nurse aide in Kansas required.

This course will provide the future teacher with a clear understanding of the teaching profession, understanding of how history and theories of education are relevant in the classroom and an overview of today's contemporary issues in American Education.
